New Digital Literacy Project – Call for Working Group Members

Thanks to those who have expressed interest in joining a working group to support LLID’s participation in a new digital literacy project. We have successfully recruited a few older adults and are still seeking 1 or 2 younger people to help design, implement and evaluate this project in the Distillery District. Volunteers can expect to spend about 2 hours per month between July and March 2026.

If you are interested, please email llid@gwna.ca and come see us at our LLID booth at the Falls Prevention Fair on Thursday, June 26 from 1 - 4 pm at 33 Mill Street to learn more. This is a great initiative for both older adults and community members interested in helping others!

Preparing for Retirement – Call for Working Group Members

Thanks to those who have expressed interest in joining a working group to help plan an interactive, engaging event for anyone preparing for retirement as part of our Autumn programming.

We are looking for a few more volunteers to join the working group who have approximately 2 hours per month between now and November. If you have expertise or just plain interest in this topic, please contact us at llid@gwna.ca before June 30.
